Affiliations
At Lolwana Attorneys Inc. we recognize the value of imparting knowledge and practical experience for law students within our community.
Our firm is currently affiliated with Nelson Mandela University and Varsity College School of Law.
In partnership with the Nelson Mandela University’s Legal Integration Project, we from time to time take on students who are interested in attending a vacation work program and who are involved in the Legal Integration Project.
Since 2019 our firm has absorbed 200+ students
from the NMU Legal integration project into our firm for vacation work.

I had the pleasure of working with Ms Lolwana and her team quite a few times in 2021. I was introduced to Ms Lolwana through being a member of the Legal Integration Programme (LIP) at NMU which Ms Lolwana is proudly associated with. I was welcomed with open arms from the get go and was immediately made to feel comfortable and like I fit right in.
Ms Lolwana put us right to work and here I was able to build and improve on a lot of my drafting skills and how I interacted with people within the profession. I also had the privileged opportunity of accompanying Ms Lolwana to her court appearances, and was introduced to a lot of the court staff at the Magistrates Court in Gqeberha, whom Ms Lolwana works closely with.
During my vac work stint at Lolwana Inc I learned so many valuable and professional skills which I still use in the workplace today. I learned to always be professional and courteous in everything I do, but at the same time to be confident in my abilities as a legal professional. I learned that your work ethic and personality will take you places and how you present that is how you will be remembered.
My time at Lolwana Inc allowed me to experience the practicality of the profession and how to put theory to practice, and I loved every second of working with Ms Lolwana and her team!

When I completed my LLB at NMU, I was full of youthful exuberance. I thought life and the job market would be kind to me, but I was in for a rude awakening. Ms Lolwana took a chance on me and offered me the position without a fuss.
My time at the Law firm was exciting, fulfilling, and challenging. When you have a boss that puts her all into her work, you have no choice but to develop a good work ethic.
